RCW 75 is a faint emission nebula in the constellation Centaurus at around 6500 light years away and embedded in the rich star fields of the milky way. If you’re looking for big, bright and full of details then this nebula may disappoint somewhat! But it’s no less deserving of some attention! While almost entirely an emission nebula there is some reflection nebulosity such as VbBH 60 (faint blue ring in the center) plus a few other small, faint pockets. The incorporation of H-alpha does a great job in revealing the nebulosity from the star field. Without it you loose the nebula for the stars! Represented in HαRGB.
